Poll: What is your favorite anime type (tell us why)

I have seen many, many anime(what do you expect from the anime god ).
But as for a favorite type, I'd have to go with a story-driven anime. Anime that can suck me into the story such as Yu Yu hakusho or Black Cat can keep me busy for a long time!

Like DW says, if it can suck me into it, i'm happy! Something like Black Cat, InuYasha,
or Fullmetal Alchemist to name a few.

For me i'll have to go with Random-funny because i love an anime that can make me laugh out loud for no reason. For example stuff like Azumanga Daioh, Di Gi Charat, Lucky Star, and Pani Poni Dash are right up my alley!

I like Sadistic, dark, gory and very, very twisted anime, a small example would be Elfen Lied! Hahaha though i guess that makes me sound like i'm a dark person o.o i'm actually, the loudest, hyperest, craziest girl you will EVER know!

Tragic: Air, Clannad, ect. I love them but I dunno why. I cry every time. ;-;

I know this is an old topic, but since I'm new I thought I revive it instead of creating something new.

I really love and appreciate many different types of anime, but I think I like story driven/tragic anime the best.

For some reason, even being a guy, I love a tear jerker anime.

If there is an anime that is story driven, has some action, has some romance, and then has a tragic moment that actually makes me shed a tear for real, then I always rank it very high on my list. But sometimes I really do like it when everything works out, without any tragic moments too.

I really enjoy a good comedy too.

Yeah i kinda like them all but i like the random-funny the best.
